Ludovic de Saint Sernin and his super sexy and rich fashion (lots of skin), Nicolas di Felice and his trendy and modern take on Courrèges, the “garçons” at Coperni and their beachy 1990s futurism, Daniel Roseberry and his incredible, theatrical, and funny way of reinventing Schiaparelli’s surreal aesthetic, Rokh and its youthful glamour... And all of the young designers like Weinsanto, Ester Manas, Charles de Vilmorin, Kenneth Ize, etc. Paris Fashion Week was full of new talents and surprises!
If we consider fashion as a business of emotions, Marni was a standout this season. The community driven show harmoniously mixed together the makers of the collection—the designer and the creative team—and
sunglasses for men the viewers/reviewers. For all of us in the room the show was an unexpected experience and the casting honestly reflected the real diverse world we live in. You could feel that everybody felt represented by the value of the brand. It was nice to see Ghali, an Italian rapper born in Milan from Tunisian parents (who also just presented a cool capsule for Benetton this season), be a part of it! He represents the new scene of Milan.
